Spirit Farm Gypsy Cobs
Who We Are
Our Mission
To promote the Gypsy Cob breed in Canada by offering top quality representatives of the breed for sale.
We are Frank and Shreyasi Brodhecker
Proud owners of Spirit Farm Gypsy Cobs Inc. in Sherwood Park, Alberta.
Spirit Farm started with a dream and a LOVE of horses! After boarding our herd for a few years, we relocated to our beautiful location in Sherwood Park, Alberta, and created Spirit Farm Gypsy Cobs Inc. in 2019.
We believe that the healing of horses beautifully connects with our day jobs in the mental field. Our love of horses has transformed into establishing our Gypsy Cob breeding and therapy program.
Our Journey
Our journey with horses started after we were married and found our first two horses, Romeo and Stella, and it has been one rollercoaster ride after another since that day. We both work in the mental health field and creating this farm has been our dream fulfilled. It is hard work and there are so many challenges that some days we don’t know why we signed up for what feels like five jobs in one…and then we remember why when we walk out among our herd in the evening breeze. We learn so much from our herd daily and hope others can share this special connection when visiting our farm.
Our Family
Therapy Program
At Spirit Farm, we believe in the limitless potential of horses to heal and transform humans! The Gypsy Cobs and the rest of the herd are active co-therapists in the Equine Facilitated Wellness programs offered by Mindful Mare Wellness. Please check out their website for more details on these unique offerings!
