Who We Are

Spirit Farm Gypsy Cobs is a traditional gypsy cob farm located in Sherwood Park, Alberta Canada. Horses hold an immense role in our world and our love of horses has transformed into establishing our Gypsy Cob breeding and therapy program.

Horses and healing happen in a beautiful synergy and we believe horses can offer so many gifts for our mental health. Please access our sister website, Mindful Mare Wellness, for more information on the Equine Facilitated Wellness offerings we provide at our farm.

Why Gypsy Cobs?

We visited Janey Down and Gavin Ross Willcox in the U.K. during the summer of 2019. Inspired by their dedication to the Gypsy Cob breed, we created a breeding program of our own to showcase these special horses in Canada.

Why Spirit Farm?

Spirit means soul, energy and life essence. It describes the welcome you receive at our farm and the unique gifts that our horses share with the people they meet.

Joe is one of the stars in the therapy program at our farm. He is a ten year old gypsy cob who is the heart and soul of the farm.
